Rectify

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

Overview

Rectify is an iPhone app that captures projected slides and corrects angled images into front-facing images. Rectify processes captured images, slide detection, change detection, and perspective correction on your device. Captured images and analysis results are not sent to developer servers.

Permissions Used

Rectify does not request microphone, location, contacts, Bluetooth, local network, or tracking permissions.

Images and On-Device Processing

Slide area detection, OCR used for slide-change detection, and perspective correction are performed on device. Rectify does not upload captured images, OCR text, usage history, diagnostics, or analysis results to developer servers.

Data Collection and Tracking

Rectify does not collect data from the app. It does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, IDFA, App Tracking Transparency tracking permission, or cross-app tracking. Rectify does not create or require user accounts.

Storage and Deletion

Images saved inside Rectify are stored in the app sandbox on your device. If you delete the app, images stored only inside the app are deleted with it.

Images saved to the Camera Roll are separate copies. Deleting an in-app image does not delete the Camera Roll copy, and deleting the app does not remove images that were already saved to the Camera Roll.

Third-Party Services

Rectify does not use user accounts, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or external cloud sync in the initial version described by this policy.
